Important information about graduation which will occur on Friday, June 28th at 7:00 p.m. The ceremony will be held at VanDetta Stadium, 150 Richmond Ave., Batavia, NY 14020.
If poor weather is in the forecast the ceremony will be moved to Saturday, June 29th at 10:00 a.m.
Notes for Guests
Guest seating is located in the stands. No guests will be allowed inside the fence around the track until after the ceremony.
You will not receive tickets for this event because the stadium provides ample seating for all families.
We will have a professional photographer who will make pictures available for families to purchase.
Upon arrival, we will have chaperones and security to assist with the event.
The ceremony will be livestreamed to accommodate family and friends who will not be able to be at the commencement ceremony. The livestream can be found on the Batavia CSD Web Page at www.bataviacsd.org. You will then click on the graduation tab.
There are sections at the stadium that are handicapped accessible. We are not reserving seats.
Notes to graduates
Mandatory graduation walkthrough is on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Students are required to attend and must have all chromebooks and fees paid by this time.
This rehearsal is for students only.
We will hand out caps and gowns at rehearsal
Students should wear caps and gowns to graduation.
Graduation Caps can be decorated, DO NOT decorate your gown
Student attire should be semi-formal (dress, skirt, dress pants, shirt and tie, etc.)
No jeans, flip flops, shorts or high heels (due to walking on the turf)
