SOAR is held after school Monday-Thursday with each group scheduling their group days.

Currently at the high school (grades 9-12), there are the following groups:

• Fishing

• Fitness and nutrition

• Crafts, cooking and sewing

• Video game group

• Cooking at GoArt.

At the middle school (grades 5-8), there are groups for:

• Social connections

• Crafts

• Presentation and speaking skills

• Yoga

• World games

• BG (running group)

• Museum of Science

• Theater

At John Kennedy (grades 2-4) there are groups for:

• Arts and crafts

• Board games

• Gardening

• Cooking

• Outdoor games

• Film and fun

• Creative holiday creations

• Sewing

• Green screen

• Power walk and puzzles

• Nature

All activities are led by district staff who complete activity planning sheets for each individual program. This is used to show accountability in how the grant funds are being used. The plans include dates of events, how students are recruited, supplies needed, location of activities, permission slip verification and transportation needs.
